Chicago businesses
Chicago has a deep bench of the kind of businesses that live on tracking: contractors and trades keeping up an older housing stock of two-flats, bungalows and brick apartment buildings, small manufacturers and machine shops, food producers, and distributors moving goods through warehouses on the edges of the city and out in the suburbs. Many of them run on a spreadsheet that has grown for years alongside the business.
Weather shapes the workload. Long winters and freeze-thaw cycles bring a rush of repair calls, while summer is packed with exterior work and projects that have to finish before the cold returns. A job board with flags for stuck work, and a phone screen crews can update between stops, keeps the office from losing track when the calendar fills up. For distributors and makers, stock levels and reorder points matter most, since a missed reorder can hold up a whole week of orders.

Working with us from Chicago
The project runs online. You share the sheet or the forms you use now, we talk through them on a video call scheduled in Central time, and every draft arrives as a link you can open on a phone or a laptop. We have no office in Chicago. If a screen needs to work on a shop floor, in a van or at a counter, tell us and we'll test it on the kind of device you use there.
- You describe what you track and who uses it, or send a cleaned-up copy of the sheet.
- We reply with questions, then a written quote with the screens, the data and a target date.
- You try a clickable draft with sample records before the full build.
- We load your real data, train the people who'll use it, and switch over on a day you pick.
Questions
Do you meet in person in Chicago?
No. Everything runs by email, shared files and video calls on Central time, so there's no office visit to arrange.
Our crews work across the city and suburbs. Can the tracker show job locations?
Yes. Each job can carry its address, and the crew's phone screen can open directions in the maps app they already use.
Ask for a quote
Cost depends on how many screens and record types the tool needs, how many people log in, and what it has to connect to. Each project gets its own written quote.
